American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA)

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) provides the Patrick Administration with resources that will allow us to provide a wide range of support and training to workers, job seekers and unemployed individuals across the Commonwealth. These funds are provided through both statewide programming and by formula to programs operated by the state's 16 local workforce investment boards, ensuring that resources reach the whole Commonwealth.

The Lower Merrimack Valley Workforce Investment Area (LMVWIA) will receive a total funding of $3,427,935, which will be allocated within the next two years. Of the total funds, $119,500 will be allocated to Wagner Peyser, $616,776 to WIA Title I Adult, $1,477,863 to WIA Title I Youth, $930,860 to WIA Title I Dislocated Worker, and $282,936 to Reemployment.
